Building setback distances and the Residence placement on site created a buildable triangle of space on the entrance side. Building a new exterior wall at the angle of the setback allowed the opportunity to both create the Contemporary front and high volume space the Owners wanted. The interior renovations allowed the kitchen to expand into this light and airy space, and also the upper level bath and dressing area to open with windows. A turn the corner gas fireplace works for the eat-in kitchen, the entrance and living areas beyond.

Vertical, Cedar Siding, a covered metal roof entry and two story windows have altered the roadside views.
